If I’m not mistaken, I believe the lakers will have 3 different court designs they’ll play in this season. This one, the leaked in season tournament courts (or as the NBA now calls it: The Emirates Cup), and the regular home court.

I wonder if Clippers leaving has anything to do with this? Maybe not enough space to keep multiple courts. Hence why Lakers didn’t have a city court. I know Lakers like to keep it traditional but it seemed like a long overdue for the Lakers to have the court match the city jersey. Keep in mind this is the last season of Nike’s contract with the NBA.
