The Knicks continue to build out their roster, adding players to exhibit 9/10 deals and reports have indicated NY has signed another guard to this roster. The main reason the Knicks are doing this and not adding more size to their team is because they like their depth on the team. But NY still lacks insurance at the center position in the event another injury occurs. This is leading the Knicks to make a huge decision on one of their rookie centers Ariel Hukporti, he could be receiving a major opportunity… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

I suspect the acquisition of these guards could indicate that the Knicks are about to trade Deuce.
This is something I don't want, especially since Deuce is currently our best backup. But if it means bringing in a good center to be a starter (Towns would go back to 4), then I would agree. With great regret, of course.
Hukporti is for the future. He's not ready yet.

@Theknicksrecap. Not happy with Knicks signing another guard. But keeping Hukporti is a good move. Despite some folks sleeping on Hukporti as if he can't play center at a high level, the fact remains it will be a joy to watch him play. I love his skill set, and we don't have to worry if he starts. He will represent just fine.
It's good that the Knicks are keeping Ariel "Hulk" Hukporti. Hulk has to express that anger in his game, making him stronger, longer, and a defender and a down-low banger.

Guards is a good thing to have because a power forward or a center can never be faster than a guard and I got the feeling that it’s gonna be lot of need for guards in the future in the NBA 😂😅
