apparently the Breakers aren't even the reigning champs of their own league.
I think it would be a cool opportunity to allow Euroleague champs or something play an NBA team.. showcase some skills. ( maybe Yabusele old team)
But this is literally just a random team from Australian NBL.. like you couldn't even get the best team from that league ??? 😂😂

Maxey knew he was rhe best player on the court last night. When he realizes how good he is, he plays at a different level. No disrespect to the breakers but the comp is not nba level

I know no body is going to believe this but as a sixer fan, I was absolutely thrilled when we drafted maxey. After seeing his workout routines and work ethic and character, I knew this guy was special. I said he would be an all star in year three and top 5 pg in year5 so here we gooo
If I had two choices…that Maxey got 40+ points, as the 7th seed, against the Knicks…or average 30 points during that 11-18 regular season stretch without Embiid, to keep us in a respectable seed…I'd pick the latter…
We only sink to like the 4th-5th seed, still get a beatable 1st round opponent, and avoid a Cinderella Knicks team, in which that clock struck 12 against the Pacers.
Drummond and Yabusele on the floor would be like a Hulk sasquatch team up. Anyone challenging that is getting crushed
McCain looking like he's on track to be better or as good as Isaiah Joe. Isaiah Joe took 3 seasons to show he could even shoot consistently in the preseason, and pretty much sucked in Philly in limited mintutes. McCain seems like he'll be ready to go in limited minutes. He's also bigger than what some folks think. He's not super skinny like Isaiah Joe and he does look like he's closer to 6'3".
Furkan is the missing piece of our puzzle – just keepin' it real.
Ben is coming back this year because it’s contract year. Next year he will be injured again

Anyone that watched realize their is absolutely no room or reason for kyle lowry to b on the basketball court!!!!! With maxey, Eric Gordon, McCain and reggie jackson!!! ABSOLUTELY NOOOO reason. For offense n damn sure not defense!!!!!!😡😡😡😡💯💯💯
This is the most balanced and deepest team of the Embiid tenure. 10 years in we finally got it right. Barring health…this is the year we should expect a ECF. I hope they load manage the season.

I still want to see if Maxeys isolation game improved. He added muscle in the off season so I want to see if he can expose more defenses this year. Specifically against the Celtics and Miami who always find ways to lock him down defensively.

Andre Drummond is an amazing rebounder. If he can be somebody that can knock down a 3 here and there, embiid should only play like 30mpg… I'd put him on the floor with embiid in stints against the Celtics too

My man, my guy, Eastwood, I said, and I’ve been saying it over and over again that Yaba should be your starting 4 because of what he provides he can pass and a half court offense because he understands the euro game the guy can hit cutters he can scream he can hit the three he can rebound and he doesn’t need the ball !
You need something between Kurt Rambis and Kevin McHale are utility guy that can do a little bit of everything without needing the ball

I know it’s early but I think this year when Embiid rests, Drummond at the 5 and Yabu at 4 could be $$. Yabu at the 5 for small ball too

There should be some deal where Sixers content creators can’t use the copyright card against other Sixers creators. So lame they prevent you from just showing a minute long clip. I’m a Sixers sicko but the team we played is not NEAR NBA talent. Of course we look spectacular as we should. This game meant less than 0 to me.
Despite Yabusele's memorable but overrated dunk over Lebron, he's pretty much earthbound – no springs in his legs like a young Barkley. I see him as a stretch 4 and not a scorer in the paint where he can't elevate over bigger players. He doesn't strike me as a glass cleaner either. We need his threes, his physicality, and dirty work – basically an enforcer who can space the floor.
Right now, our only professional rebounder is Drummond. That's still a weakness of ours, and hard to address at this point.

Well…Since you brought it up….. Noah Lyles isn’t wrong. The NBA champs are not necessarily the “team” in the world. It’s the best team that could be assembled under rules, restrictions, and salary cap of the NBA. I bet if you were to hand pick/assemble an NBA team with players of your choosing and no NBA rules/guidelines to follow, you could create a team that would smoke the Celtics. That’s a lot different than an Olympic champion in an individual sport. Noah Lyles is the fastest man in the 100m in the world. (For now at least) There is not a soul on this planet that can do it faster than him. I think that was Noah’s point. He was saying that he is truly the best in the world at something as opposed to the NBA where the champs are just the best under the conditions that the NBA allows for.
The level of pride Drummond has about rebounding. He couldn't say the yabu comment without saying he still has the edge. Love it
