Miles Deuce McBride should be starting. He scores more.. he attempts to score more.. and he plays tight defense. We need that in the starting 5 lineup. Josh Hart would be great coming off the bench with his nonstop runs, endurance & rebounding..
Tyler Kolek, Josh Hart, Landry Shamet, Precious Achuwa, & hopefully TJ Warren coming off the bench would be a legit lineup. I like Achuwa over Sims at the 5 center position.
Tyler Kolek is definitely better than cam Payne. I think the coaching staff knows that. Tyler Kolek & Brunson are the only 2 legit court general style point guards on the team. Kolek should be the official backup p.g behind Brunson. McBride is a shooting-combo guard… Payne is a shooting guard. Josh Hart is a swingman.
wanna see mcbride start, i think he could seriously take a step to being an elite player
Leave him open and say ur cool with it if he makes it and watch him go 2-5 or better a game
We need Harts rebounding and pushing the ball. He brings a nice element to the starting 5. We don’t need more shooting for the starters. Also, he can shoot the 3 sometimes

They say McBride had always been lighting it up in practices that coaching staff knew it would start falling at some point. They knew he would make Quickley expendable and they believe he can fill in to replace DiVo’s production.
Hart needs to start because his rebounding is needed. Let Duece get his shots with the second unit.

I hear the need for Hart’s hustle and rebounding in the starting lineup but there’s something to be said about surrounding Brunson and Towns with 3 great on-ball defenders

Duece is a beast off the bench. We need firepower off the bench. Hart is best being the glue guy who holds the starters together.
If McBride was a few inches taller I would agree. Plus he’s great against second units. I wish we traded Hart ( if it came down to the two) over Devo. He would be the perfect 2 right now.Devo can play defense, pass and shoot the lights out. Hart makes big plays at the end of games. I honestly wish we didn’t trade for Kat. I want to see what that line up could do.

My take on who is the better of the two !!! Josh , plain and simple . OFFENSIVE REBOUNDING !!! OFFENSIVE REBOUNDING !!! OFFENSIVE REBOUNDING !!! And then overall rebounding to go along with all the other critical aspects of the games .
Josh hart is realistically a 2/3 yeah he rebounds well for a guard but he's not guarding legit 4's at 6'4. Leave deuce coming off the bench. Hart is the perfect player to play with the starting lineup. Sure he can't shoot but that's only one aspect of the game. I feel like this modern age has put such an emphasis on spacing that people are quick to call non shooters lesser players than ones who can shoot. Hart may not shoot well consistently but he's elite at taking it to the rim and forcing the defense to make a decision. He has the court vision and handle to pass out or dump off. He's also smart defensively and pushes the ball well after a defensive rebound. I hate seeing donte go but I see why they kept hart instead even though his contract is bigger. The glaring weakness off the bench is still our big men depth. changing deuce and Hart in starting lineup isn't fixing that. Hate the trade honestly but we're here so let's just see what happens it all we can do

Subbing KAT and Bridges early would allow you to have 2 featured scorers in the lineup for the start of the second. Most of these guys have played well with the starting unit … staggering you starters will allow for more balance… and all of them can play multiple positions

You can bring TYLER kolak and duce MCBRIDE of the bench for 15 minutes EVERY game and you won't lose nothing and give BRUNSON and BRIDGES a lot of rest EVERY Game
