Hi, John. Long time, no see. WE WILL SHOW THEM when the season starts
I thought the same–surprised they didn't vote for Indy, actually.
Well, regardless of whether JB was disrespected or not, I'm guessing he'll view it that way. Jaylen's like a brooding version of Pedro when it comes to perceiving (creating?) slights. If it works, it works.
The league and it's narratives just weren't ready for the meteoric rise. Joe is ascending with this squad. They'll go down in history if they stay sharp, healthy, and JT takes the leap.
Well, those 17% and 10% Mazzulla voters might be different voters in each category too. Look, people vote as much on rep and consensus as they do actual merit. What you said is correct–if he wins another championship… hell, he'll be getting more votes 5 years from now than he does now; by then, people might be saying, "Why does Joe Mazzulla keep getting credit for winning 5 yrs ago?" Look at Spo–he might never win another, but he'll keep getting votes based mostly on legacy, rep and Miami winning play-in games after underachieving all season.
i can just hear joe saying “nobody cares” 😂
Brad basically bet on himself picking the right roster by trading away Williams/Brogdon/Smart. In return he got Jrue Holiday who was probably the best guard defender in basketball in the playoffs. Then he got KP who people continue to forget barely played in the dominant playoff run. The season continued to fold Boston’s way from there.
My concern with Boston is this, INJURY!
1. Tatum and brown have played a ton of minutes the last couple of years. Now them being young has allowed for Udoka/Mazzula to play them into huge minutes. If either of those guys miss a couple weeks the offense becomes less dimensional.
2. The injury luck outside of KP has been insane. Can we expect White, Holiday, Horford, and Hauser to remain consistently on the court?
Healthy Boston doesn’t give away more than two games. Boston without even one of those guys is a team I’m not sure is built to handle the ECF .
I see that JJ Reddick on the west is literally ripping a page of the Mazulla book. Not suprising that they are friends.
I disagree ant will be better then Jaylen brown….JB STILL getting better every year
Thats the secret JAylen brown is really a shooting guard.. if the east list him as a guard he would start in every all star game
yawns Is it 10/22 yet?
@John Years from now we will look back so happy for all this disrespect that the ONLY human being happier then all C's fans will have been coach Joe :). lol Thanks for all the news and discussion good Sir 🙂
JB is a better power forward than JT esp. in defense. Just look how he guarded well one of the strongest PF in NBA in Zion last year
Massive shoutout to John for adding chapters to the videos! The pod only continues to get better
Anthony Edwards’s more athletic than JB? Yea idk about that
