Do you buy LeBron has earned 3 statues in 3 cities?

LeBron James's dominance in the NBA raises the question of whether he deserves three statues. If it were up to Lakers fans, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t happen — unless he goes on to win 2 more with us. Which is reasonable. Imo.

His championships with three different teams and numerous records argue for it. However, some believe other players are also worthy and that his legacy should be assessed after retirement yet there are already stories circulating or throwing the idea or a sly indoctrination to desensitize LA fans of the idea. I do not think we would automatically give him a statue if he retires tomorrow.

I say he needs 2 more for a statue at staples.

If he gets one here it would be because that is the only title of this ownership tenure, then Davis also deserves one, but historicaly I’d say he needs more titles here.

Is there even a discussion for a statue? Some fans are already pissed he’s getting his jersey retired (I disagree, he deserves it), lol. I don’t even think Jeanie or Lebron have seriously entertained the idea of a statue either. He’ll get one in Cleveland 100%. Miami, not so sure even though he has been their best player, he was only there 4 years compared to Wade. If somehow we win one more, it *might* be a discussion. 2 more, he would 100% get it, and he’d be in the leading argument for GOAT. Longshot in the dark though

No. In Cleveland, definitely. In Miami, only way he’s getting 1 is if the Heat Big 3 get a collective statue.

If Lebron stays here thru the rest of his 3 year extension and retires here he will have spent almost 10 years of his career here. If he only wins 1 title it’s a semi debate but I think he ultimately gets it because when a GOAT contender gives you that much of their career and brings you a title it deserves being honored.

  5. Def in Cleveland and Miami. LA no imo, you need several championship runs because the bar is set so high by the current statues present

You mean the cities he’s won titles for? Probably…but I’d say LA is borderline no though

  7. Getting his Jersey retired from the Lakers is guaranteed. But the only place I see him getting a statue is Cleveland. Riley is petty so Miami is probably out. As far as the Lakers go I don’t think just the one ring gets him a statue. That gets his Jersey retired.

If Jeanie is in charge of who gets a statue I think he gets one here depending on how well the team does after he leaves.

One statue, one city. He’s Ohio’s son. They deserve it.

Lebron has earned 3 statues from just Cleaveland. Miami should get a statue of d wade if anyone.

No. Definitely Cleveland and as much as it will piss them off, definitely should Miami.

He would have to win another one with MVP to even be a consideration for the lakers. Somehow 3? Sure

I think since the set the most points record as a laker he deserves a statue.

  13. Eric_T_Meraki

He’ll get all 3. Guaranteed. Deserving or not, it’s up to the owners and Jeannie has a sweet spot for Bron so 100% happening especially if he retires as a Laker.

  14. Cavs should give LeBron two statues: one for his first stint and one for the return + chip. Miami could do a Big 3 statue. Lakers just need one — him holding the 2020 championship trophy.

I’d say no for the lakers, think him and AD need at least 1 more title

  16. K0CKULEES

    Jersey retirement,  definitely.

Statue? 1 more chip and I would say definitely.

  17. 2, if we win another 3. If he stays for another five years playing at this level, 3

  18. Of course. Rings in all 3 places plus he’s the GOAT

  19. TroubledMang

He brought Cleveland their 1st, and only title, and is an Ohio native who some consider the GOAT. 2 chips, 4 trips with Miami during what was probably his prime.

L.A. is trickier. So far Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Shaq, and Jerry definitely deserved it more, but that’s not all Bron’s fault. L.A. is still stuck on 16 if he doesnt come here. Especially seeing how Pelinka has run the team. I honestly feel that the Lakers have at least a pair of titles with Bron if they had a competent GM…

I’d say yes. He’s done a lot the team/city, and his NBA status as a legend makes him too great not to put one up.

Jeanie will give him one to lure future stars. So yes

Cleveland , definitely. Idk about the other 2.
