The shift in how they use Jaylen Brown was something that a lot of fans had been calling for for quite some time. The connection between Brown and prime Klay Thompson was something I saw mentioned on here for a while. Not that Brown is the shooter that Klay is, but that Brown is incredible at finishing when he’s given the ball with an advantage, (i.e. he’s always been one of the best players in transition). It may look differently, but, like with Klay, you give Brown just enough room to breath and the ball is going in the hoop. I think the numbers mentioned in this article indicate that the coaching staff felt the same way and Brown THRIVED come playoff time.

I like the call out to Tillman. It’s very evident that Brad likes players who have multiple skills. Thinking about his offense, Tillman is already a good play-maker, screener, and post player, (though limited in the amount of post-ups he actually averaged like 1.60 points per possession in post-ups). If that 3 can fall, he becomes the definition of a dynamic bench big.

I think we should put Jrue on the Horford plan and not play him on back to backs to 1. Save him for the post season and 2. Give opportunity for players like Walsh/Springer/Scheierman to develop with real minutes.
