I watched this interview the day I heard the news, this interview really helped me come down from the shock of loosing both Jules and Devo. Seems to me he’s in just the right place to start winning some chips.

I think KAT not going to the low block was more about respecting the gameplan and being unselfish (by sticking to spacing the floor) than about toughness (or lack thereof). I think the critique applies if he's playing the 5 but with a rim-running center like Gobert, the 4 has to space (or vice versa) in today's game in my opinion.
When Thibbs coached KAT he played alot with his back to the basket and was very effective. He struggled when teams started doubling him, the team instead of working through it they went with Jimmy.
I think we will see plenty of KAT at the elbow or near the block with his back to the basket initiating handoffs like Ihart last season. But there will be growing pains and expect KAT to average a couple turnovers while he works the kinks out in season.
Additionally this team has elite catch and shoot players on the corners, which makes doubling that much harder.
I think KAT will be good this season! LETS GO KNICKS!
