    This is why you don't waste time watching baseball. Too many games for the shortest playoff series's.
    Also Philly sports is the best!

    Phillies' players ruled the clubhouse. Hitters made no adjustments at the plate. Castellanos refused to take a game off. Stubbs should be the 1st guy gone.

    I saw this coming from the beginning of the season. Even when they had the best record before the All Star break, I didn't see them getting to the World Series. They have a huge payroll, but that payroll is based on the Phillies acquiring players after just one good season instead of what they did in their career. It's similar to Jalen Hurts getting that huge contract based on one season. They need to get consistent players who performed every season. BTW, I don't see Hurts getting to the Suoer Bowl again. Coaching may be suspect, but Hurts is not worth 2 excellent other players the Eagles could have acquired with $30 million of his annual $50 million contract.

    As a Mets fan, my wife and I both noticed something very obvious during this series. Whenever the Mets scored or won, the players seemed like a united team/family. I felt like the Phillies didn’t project that type of camaraderie even after something good happened…Not sure what it is, but my gut is telling me Harper is toxic…incredible talent, but he seems to play for himself, and wears bandanas with his own name on it. Just observing as Mets fan: Phillies had the talent. But to me the Mets look like a family, even in the beginning of the season when they sucked, and not because of this Cinderella season. Sometimes ya gotta remove the toxins to get over the hump. I have no idea what his contract is about, but you’d be surprised when u get rid of negativity, even if it feels like a huge loss…If this makes any Phillies fans feel better, we have been waiting since 1986.

    It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback. However, I've been saying all year to my friends and family, that the Phils aren't a World Series team. I was hoping I was wrong, but their weaknesses really showed themselves the second half of the season. I'm not surprised by their early exit.
