I think the recency bias has made GM's think that ant is better than book. And tbf I dont blame them. They may be right because booker wasnt good for the most part in that series. But ant has showed way more inconsistencies than booker has so one series shouldn't just dictate that

receny bias and projection has ant over book rn. look at history of books progression and elevation in the playoffs. efficiency, shot creation, eye test and he’s better than ant. ant had a better 2024 playoffs and that’s it, i think by the end of the year we’ll see why booker should still be SG #1. unless ant takes another huge jump up
Anthony Edwards does NOTHING offensively as well as Booker. NOTHING. He's never averaged even 26ppg, he's NEVER averaged above league average efficiency. He's very literally a BELOW average efficiency shooter. Booker is a better playmaker, scorer, and above average efficiency. Do you guys think Booker and KD went through 10+/17+ yrs being unstoppable and then underperformed in the playoffs because of Ant??
People saw these playoffs how our ability to score was impacted but it was by having a center that neither created space or garnered defensive attention from the Wolves. No lob threat or finishing ability by Nurk let the wolves load up on KD and Book. Rudy didn't have to worry about recovering quickly to guard Nurkic because he was a threat. The equivalent of a 7ft Okogie offensively. They were very literally playing 4v5 on offense. How can you be so clueless? 😂 Now, I do agree that Edwards has a higher ceiling because of his athletic abilities and "could" potentially one day pass Booker. However, the question was is Ant or Booker better and the truth is there is absolutely ZERO evidence supporting Edwards is better right now.
Only 3 players finished top 11 in Ast and PPG, Jokic, Luka, and Booker.
Congrats he reached the WCF! Booker reached the Finals! Booker has had MULTIPLE historical scoring playoff runs that Edwards can't even touch. Booker holds the record for most points scored in their first playoff run in HISTORY! He literally had the best scoring run through the first 2 rounds since Michael FREAKING Jordan!
