Idk we looked terrible. Only reason we won is because our g league players played better than their g league for a quarter.
This game showed we are cooked on offense without Fred. The offense with the main guys was horrible there was too much hero ball and not enough movement. It looks like the Slias offense.
It’s preseason I get it but it’s concerning when you have three players which is Fred Reed and Sengun that knows how to set guys up and plays within an offensive flow in the game
Reed has shown some flashes as a point guard including this game but you don’t want to rely on a 20 year old rookie to run the offense this fast and soon.
Jalen he needs to step up and be consistent so he can take the load off of Fred and Sengun we need to figure out who he is as a player. Because if he is this inconsistent player we saw in the last few years then it’s time to move on from him.
Ime needs to do better on drawing up some plays on offense to make it easier on our other guys possibly and he really needs to use Jabari right have him post up and do some middys or have him do a two man game with Sengun on the pick and roll.
It’s only preseason so hopefully these issues will get addressed but to get where we need to go this offense needs to be better

We need to find a way to get Sengun touching the ball nearly every play. Reed looks so in control for a rookie. He’s going to be a damn good player.
How come Ime does not do anything while your guards do not make any play, at least handing the ball to Alpi in the first 4 minutes. Disastrous. Your guards even Brooks playing as if they are on their own.
They try to hack-a-Shaq Sengun but our boy has the smoothest touch.

Jock got his usual positive +- even while Chet and Hart were still playing, must be frustrating to roll with every pick and not see the ball though, that's how he averaged 20+ early in his career.

This was the test game for jalen green and he showed us he didnt improve anything about his passing ability and court vision…he was already a good athlete ,whats the difference from last year??
Even as a rookie, sadly Reed has better basketball IQ than jalen
The Rockets should convert jack mcveigh contract to a standard contract. They need his shooting for players like Amen to thrive. They should Give him AJ Griffin roster spot.
Let me tell you how to use the term ''right now'' correctly.. Alperen Sengun is right now one of the best players in the nba. And he doing it and showing his talent on a roster like the Houston Rockets. Bro drew like 500 fouls in 5 minutes crazy..
Ime udoka should also seek to implement okc type defensive schemes rather than relying on switching all the time. Okc defensive schemes is less complicated and it frees up more energy for their offense
