Orlando Magic’s preseason progress: The step the Magic took vs. San Antonio

The Orlando Magic showcased their progress in a preseason clash with the San Antonio Spurs, marking a significant improvement from their preseason debut. If the point of preseason is to carry over what was learned in training camp and get better with each game, then the team accomplished its goals Wednesday.

The biggest standout was Jett Howard, who dazzled with 19 points and showed he can fit in with the Magic’s starters when he gets his opportunity in the regular season.
