  1. Jaz and Jamarion had the best +/- last night. Jamarion had 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in the 4th quarter and forced at least a couple of guys out of the paint and into making bad passes resulting in turnovers. Jaz shot great in game 1 and I noticed some solid on ball defense from him in game 2. In my opinion, the 2-way players should each check off different boxes for the team. They don’t need 3 guards or 3 centers or 3 forwards. They need a variety of skill sets. One guard, Brandon Williams or Jaz Gortman. One forward, AJ Lawson or Kessler Edwards. One center…Jamarion Sharp.

The main reason why I believe that Sharp should get one of the 2-way spots is because Lively missed 25ish games last season and Kleber regularly misses 30+ games each season. Sure, they could probably manage just fine with Gafford and Powell and some small ball lineups, but what if Gafford or Powell got injured too. Sharp does look a bit raw and not quite aggressive enough on the boards, but he’s a solid rim protector and a decent rebounder, and if he ever manages to be on the court with Luka, he would be a decent lob threat.

Between Gortman and Williams, and Lawson and Edwards, I’m not sure. I’m not familiar enough with any of them.

  2. Gortman and Sharp are the more interesting 2-way players we have on the roster right now. Gortman's game looks smooth and Sharp is surprisingly quick/ coordinated for someone his size. Though, I'm pretty disappointed in O-Max/ Hardy but it's just the preseason so we'll see.

  3. Gortman has looked really good, the spot should have been his. I was so happy when they waived Lawson. He's just never really impressed me.

  4. Another thing I noticed gortman did you used to play for the bucks and play in the summer league with the team but didn't play that much
