I just don’t understand how you have guys like JB and JT that become villians in a league full of ass holes like Ant and Lamelo

Love this guy. Love our team. Such a blessing to cheer for people you like as players, and as human beings.

    A truly remarkable young man.

    Danny fucking Ainge, man. 🫡

I’ve been in a position to listen to a lot of speeches. Some good, some bad, some great, some absolutely terrible. I’ve had the opportunity to make a few speeches myself. I suppose they fell into at least 3 of those 4 categories. It’s very difficult to tell a great story in such a short speech. Jaylen did that. Quality trumps quantity every time.

What a very eloquent little speech. We are so lucky to have JB on our team.

  6. I am so thankful that we have humble and levelheaded superstars in JB and JT.

No drama or bullshit, just young men trying to get the most out of their talents and careers. Man I fucking love that we got these guys on our team! It could have been way worse.

Aw, man. He still has to take a moment to gather himself speaking about his grandma. 😢

I was high on JB this season but the encouragement he gave JT before game 5 of the Finals (I need to dig up that video, the two of them sitting on the bench alone together in the dark just before announcement of starting lineups) and the way he picked up Luka full court really cemented to me that he is the leader of the team right now, even if he doesn’t have JT’s potential skill-wise.

With JB’s freakish athleticism being what it is I think we are witnessing his prime right now, and it will likely last another 3 years at this level barring injury. JT on the other hand won’t hit his peak until 3 years from now (he’s only 19 jokes aside) as one of those late late 20s early 30s size and skill freaks.

Dear lord could he be any more perfect? His mom must’ve been bursting with pride. His grandma gave him the gift of game changer. JB, you are an inspiration. You are her light.
