The Russell Westbrook Experience

The Russell Westbrook Experience

Russell Westbrook had the most Westbrook like game in his first preseason game with the Denver Nuggets. While he did make some mistakes, there’s reasons to believe that he will fit well with the Nuggets.

  1. I like this Westbrook fit. Denvers bench seems to finally run with fluidity with Westbrook. Im far from a nuggets fan, but with Westbrook on the roster it gonna feel good watching Denver win games.

  2. Russell can get a hot hand for a single game, just as you and me. He's a mediocre shooter for his whole career though, so everything that opponents want is him shooting in the off-season and making them 🤣Same as always in his career, he'll get "confident" and just start bricking everything as per

  3. Hiring Westbrook is never a good idea. He'll consistently screw up in the clutch, going to fast and missing or trying to hit big threes that he sucks at, or ruining the spacing by standing around in the corner.

  4. Russell Westbrook being a big signing and kcp leaving for nothing leaves out the fact that Westbrook is on a 4 mill deal and. kcp is on a 66 mil deal

  5. This is what happens when you relied on speed and athleticism your whole career to be productive instead of learning any sort of skill and fundamentals. The only way Russ will have some value is on the fast break and cutting for layups.

  6. Bro do you even play basketball or just watch YouTube videos? As a player if your game strength is ball handling and rim pressure the following should be your game plan: 1) attack the paint and create rim pressure; 2) if defense sags jump shoot the ball (2s or 3s); 3) if you’re hitting your jump shots then double down on rim pressure; 4) now this opens up your passing game. Some days you’ll miss lay ups and shots but you’ve got to be you else you’re not playing

  7. Pretty sure his inability to control his touch at the rim is due to the multiple hand injuries that he's sustained throughout his career. It seems they are finally catching up to him. Wouldn't say that its ''on brand'' because he's one of the best finishers ever. He's just getting older and regressing.

  8. You're a prime candidate for the Russel Westbrook experience. You and his fans both claim it was the previous teams fault, but the Nuggets are different. For someone analyzing the game, you'd think you'd be smarter than this. Give it till all-star break. Let me know how reworks of the Nuggets for Westbrook works out for them, and Westbrook.

  9. But the important thing is that Westbrook bests his man and gets to the rim. Getting a layup is just s fine-tuning issue.

  10. I guarantee that Russ been shooting jumpers since he got traded.. Now he doesn't have to be their main ball-handler, he can focus on other ways to contribute to his new team.

The brother's willing to do whatever to boost the team he's on.. Hopefully he can find solid ground in Denver, because Russ is the type of guy you want on your team.

  11. Russ is one of the hardest working players in the league y'all!! Whether or not you like him, or his jumper.. Whether his shots are falling or not.. Man always gives it his best effort!.. Not errbody's like that.
