Gosh this makes me feel such nostalgia. The We believe warriors got me into NBA basketball in 2007 and made love the dubs despite being a teenager from the Deep South. Davidson’s tournament run in 2008 got me into college basketball I was so sad they lost to Kansas I fell for PTI’s April fools joke that the game was going to have an emergency replay. I remember how excited 15 year old me was that the best player on that Davidson team was drafted to my favorite team. I’ve been watching Steph curry play basketball for over half of my life now and it’s still just as fun as it’s ever been. The day he retires is going to be tough for all of us I’m sure, but man I can’t help but appreciate how much joy he’s brought to us all over the years. He just makes basketball look like the most fun thing a person could be doing and that inspires me so much to make sure I look like I’m having fun doing the things I love.
