I was too young back in early 90s, and I never much followed the Nuggets before Jokic, so I didn't know that Dikembe Mutombo had this masterpiece back in the day. They took Utah to 7 games in the next round too! What a legend. Rest in peace, Sir.

Still the greatest upset in nba playoff history
That was possibly the most fun young team the Nuggets ever put together. They had so much chemistry and potential – then Dan Issel abruptly quit on them midway through the next season.
I’ve often wondered what might have happened with this team if they had a different coach.
That comeback and closeout game was among the best moments in Nuggets history. I thought it was the beginning of something but it went sideways fast after those playoffs.
This series is also the reason best of 5 was changed to best of 7.
I was at every home game that playoffs, it was epic. I loved that team, Phonz is still one of my favorite players ever.
