**Off-season:** recovery
**Early season:** slow ramp up then minor injury setback
**Mid-season:** MVP level performancesÂ
**Post ASG break:** Cool down, trying to preserve body for playoffs
**Final stretch:** Ramp up to playoff intensityÂ
**Playoffs:** Injured
imo the key for us is to not worry about securing a Top 6 seed. The last couple years we have had to really push Kawhi during the final stretch to avoid falling into the play-in. Given the lower expectations, we should accept the play-in as inevitable in order to make the playoffs (even as a 9 or 10 seed). So long as there are several teams trying to tank, that should let Kawhi gradually raise his intensity towards the end, as opposed to having to flip a switch.
