Jaden Ivey has looked like a superstar for the Detroit Pistons throughout the NBA Preseason so far. Is Ivey poised for a breakout season?

  1. I think Ivey is gonna have people asking if Cade is the true future of the franchise by the time this season ends. Theyre still gonna be ass, but I think he could have one of those early career jumps that other young athletic guards tend to experience

  2. Fw the video heavy and I think Ivey is gonna be a darkhorse MIP candidate. But Cade definitely brings rim pressure, itโ€™s just that our spacing has prevented us from unleashing it until now

  3. If the players and coach can strike a balance between Ivey and Cade actions, with Ivey providing rim pressure and hitting his catch and shoot jumpers while Cade does his perimeter creation and decent slashing, that's the foundation of a really good offense there, even with the theoretically awkward fit of two high volume guards

  4. Finally somone who understands how valuable Ivey can be instead of these arm chair experts who wanted to trade him. Good analysis

  5. The J.B Bickerstaff hire also gives me more belief as hes handled a similar situation with Dmitch and Garland in Clevland could be the year things start to click for Cade and Ivey.

  6. i saw the same thing with bagley 1 year….he was tearing it up but once the season started he went back to ass. i think ivey still gonna be one of the best driving guards in the league

  7. As a Purdue fan, this makes me so happy. Heโ€™s my favorite boiler to watch of all time.

  8. Good stuff here Hoops, you hit the nail on the head saying they were robbed of their chemistry building. Year 1 bc of Cades injury and year 2 bc of Killian Hayes and Montyโ€™s perceived disdain for Ivey.

  9. Ivey looks more comfortable this preseason, and his shot looks nice
If this isn't a fluke, then damn im excited to see his progression

  10. He was always solid it was Killian Hayes that dragged this team so far downhill the last few years

  11. Iveys rep took the biggest hit from Montys antics last season. His role and playing time were never truly defined, and the pistons were a development hell last year as well. i think this year the stability and plan alone will help him take a mini leap, and the vets that actually want to be here and mentor a little bit will go a long way as well.

  12. If Ivey continues this momentum, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit fight for a Play-In spot๐Ÿ”ฅ
Still believing in the Big 3 of Cade, Ivey, and Duren๐Ÿ™

  14. I've been telling you guys since before his draft y'all just don't realise how wrongly he was being used, as well as being a super young point guard in the near shittest team in history.
