Not worried I expect a really good season but this is not the game script for him, he was the focal point in defense they didn’t help off him and didn’t need to without Luka or Kai so once those guys get out there he will get good shots and won’t have to force them

The Clippers were 😊 all out like if was game 7 of playoff series .That was concering becuase thw closeouts were dangerously close to being flagrant .They meant to send a message as well as sell tickets for their new arena .I believe Clay will be fine … i am very excited abiut Grimes .. he has the total package

Just get Josh Green back so if the Klay experiment doesn’t work, which could happen, we will have the same basic rotation we had last year (trading out Marshall for DJJ)when we went to the finals. I am a big believer in continuity
And Josh was an excellent 8th man with a diverse game and team first mentality.
Just send Thompson to the Lakers, which is where he likely should be anyway, For D’Angelo Russell. This Would make sense because Russell is on an expiring contract.

When a player start to slip, its a body of works that points to a negative trend. Therefore, I think we are in a bit of trouble.

If he went 0-10 playing with Steph in the play-in loss to the Kings, I’m not sure just playing with Luka is gonna fix everything. It’s a battle he’s have to play in his head, if it becomes a problem.

You guys still have no clue, which is amazing, considering the fact that we live in analytics era.
Klay is not a good defender. Bad rebounder. Not the highest iq or dribbling skills. Not the best teammate. Awareness and passing? Meh. Create his own shot? No, you need to feed him. The ONLY good things, he is tall for his position and sometimes can shoot. If he is not efficient in a particular game-empty space is better than him.
“It’s preseason” no it’s not about that. He has been bricks since last post season.
Im not worried. Not the slightest.
Let him get some games with Luka and Kyrie first.
