Hey, I think Reed is nursing a back Injury. In FVV interview, he mentioned it and look at that 3 point contest that REED was in. He didn't even look like himself. I feel he was ok in the first half until after that dunk. I think he tweaked his back and thus it caused his shot to be off after that. Hoping he gets healthy, but REED is a much better shooter than he is currently showing.
So is Amen the point guard you think he is?

Could it be you were wrong, Jackson? I'm hard pressed to find a guy Jabari's length that gets blocked so often by someone giving up half a foot. I don't twitter but it seems spending 5 minutes to spin Jabari's lack of focus and hustle kinda defeats the purpose of guys earning their spots. Maybe if you didn't predict "sniper" and then say an avg % is a huge leap. etal. we could have a real discussion about clear weaknesses for a guy near 7' getting blocked by guys giving up a half a foot or when was the last time you saw Jabari go to the floor? Don't give him 5 minutes of apologizing and I won't mention the "sniper" rookie you had, made a "huge leap" by getting to league average.
Jalen attacks the rim only when he's against a weak and non-physical center. That's when Jalen performs better. When he faces a strong defensive center, Jalen avoids physical contact and only shoots 3s from a safe distance.
Morever, when guards hold him with physical force Jalen shys away from the challenge and he gives up playing.
That's our weakness.

After watching the game, Al-P continue to kill momentum and flow. He really stop the offense and does nothing but foul, foul, foul. He doesnt know how to play defense without fouling.
When he set up for a post-play, he always does something STUPID and we end up losing that possession.
He is not a winner. No lead is safe with Sengun on the floor. I dont know how many times I cringe when I see my Rockets up by double digits and then see Sengun checking into the game. It just a matter of time before we lose the lead, mainly because of SENGUN!
We should have traded that bum for Brandon Ingram! Hell, Sengun and Amen for BI. And go with S. Adam at the 5.

The only weak link would be Bari but it would be alot than having Alp stinking up the offense and too slow and useless on defense.

I think based on this preseason I think we got our answer. Reed Shepard is going to get a lot of minutes out the gate the start of the season and honestly itās the right move.
We need his shooting and he a damn good passer already he is going to be great for us as the PG coming off the bench.
He might be the best passer on the team and thatās saying something since we have Sengun on the squad.
So yeah Iām excited for Reed and his defense been mostly good obviously he needs to get better dealing when guys bigger then him will want to go at him but I love his defense
Also shoutout to Jalen we need more of this if we want to be a playoff team
Fred and reed had a rough second half. Regardless, if Reed hits one or two more of those 3's late his efficiency would have been very high. On the upside they're so deep that they'll be gassing out opponents. Its a little strange to have 2 or 3 line ups but if it works then ay whatever. I still think they lack one Superstar. I don't know who's available. That they can actually get or a afford.

I did not see any coach stuff,
any game tricks, compatible duos( Accept Alpi&Fred but we did not see during preseason)
This is preseason third game and starting 5 not played 10 minutes, who the second 5 only god knows.. This is not children playground or basketball player's infrastructure camp..
Let's give a permission, these little guys grown.. They r not child anymore ( Only acception Reed this season)

the rockets are absolutely loaded with green, sengun, Whitmore, Thompson, eason and Reed Sheppard. they have draft picks out the ass and after this season 70 million of cap space. we're winning a championship within 2 years!!
also Alp's size up / triple threat moves looks so smooth, hope he improves on those.
