Podz, Buddy, Moody, Kuminga, Loon,
Anderson, GP2 and you could argue Waters should be in the mix too.

They should just trade players that are redundant on this roster for draft capital.
Nuggets, Thunder, Wolves, Clippers, Mavs, Suns, Grizzlies fighting for homecourt
Kings, Pels, Spurs, Lakers, Rockets fighting for play in slots
Blazers and Jazz are fighting for ping pong balls.
I could easily see the Kings and Clippers swapping tiers, but the Dubs could be like the 08 Warriors, win 48 games and miss the playoffs completely. The West is wild.
The “marquee big man” as a winning formula is a fallacy. Yes Denver won with Jokic, but not because of his height or athleticism, it’s because he was the best basketball player. Having complementary athletic bigs is beneficial, as Dallas proved last year, but they didn’t have a star big. Could TJD be as good as Dallas’s bigs? Absolutely. And Boston didn’t win because of KP, it was their athletic wings and some key bench players. The Warriors appear to have the best bench in the league and that should pay off greatly. The Bay Area media though, has to realize a few realities: Steph and Draymond need to play reduced minutes to stay impactful when they are playing and to stay healthy; Looney is not a starter and needs reduced minutes; Podz is a great hustle player but not a starter and he’s not a 2, he’s an backup 1; Hield will be an awesome 6th man and is working hard on D and is a body defender a la Dort, but not as effective; Moody SHOULD BE the starting 2, he’s earned it, he’s the most talented scorer and defender the Ws have at that position and he works hard; Kuminga is the starting 3 but needs to understand the game a little better; JK and Moses are the only 2 players outside of Steph capable of averaging 20 pts each, per night, and the Warriors need that; is the only legit starting 5 on this team, Draymond should play no more than 5-10 minutes at 5 in any game; GP2 is a hustle/situational player, not a consistent rotational player; when healthy, Melton is a great 7th or 8th man; not only hasn’t Wiggs earned a starting spot, he hasn’t earned more than 20 mpg in 2 years, and should have to be better than Moody or Kuminga are now to earn more minutes from the 2 or the 3; finally, the only person that can keep the Warriors from winning 52-54 games is Steve Kerr if he continues to play players based on what he feels he owes them from 2022. No team wins from what they used to do, it’s who you are now. And they need Draymond to be there when needed

I hope Dubnation isn't looking passed making it to the play-ins. At the moment all i hope for is my poor dumb boy Poole to pass the buck of nba meme to lurking Klay with his elderly shuffle. Love Klay but he dookie looking like 50 year old men who can't jump. It's why I'll be rooting for that ancient underdog. And I am looking forward to see Wemby finally being the one tall enough to lift CP up to the basket to dunk, or for Wemby to dunk both the ball and CP at the same time, or at least lob them to someone else to slam them down. CP has earned his retirememt gig. I hope Warriors will show some beauty of the system – it's why many of us love them in the first place. Would love for them to contend, to be a much lesser laughing stock instead being respected and feared. But rather through the system. Last years they weren't enough. The current players can give some more consistency to have fun at getting at the post-season. Heck, we won't know anything until the first 15 games. Trades will tip the balance of the system. It's a fine line to get hot, stay hot, or never really get going.
Exceed what expectations? That they’ll be a 10th seed again this year? Because it’s obvious they will be.
So nobody gonna mention that I been saying to get rid of Klay for the last two years?😂….but to answer your question. Yes they are set up to exceed expectations.

Warriors not going to miss Klay Thompson or Chris Paul. They had great moments, but neither of them were consistent contributors in 2023-2024. .
1. Their defense was simply terrible.
2. You never knew what you'd get on offense.
3 They were taking opportunities from players like Moody and Kuminga.
4, Worst of all, they destroyed the flow of the motion offense.
—- Chris pounded the rock for at least 10-16 seconds when he "controlled" the offense,
—- Klay took way too many bad shots.
* The combination of Klay and Chris made it difficult for others to make the offense flow.
We can already see the difference in Pre-Season.
There is no need to accomodate superstar egos, and the better ball movement is fun to watch.
They need another scorer. But my gut tells me they won’t spend money to get it after giving Curry all that money smh
Yesterday starting line up no good been that same last 2 yrs and we all know the results! Let me be straight Wiggs should not be in starting line up at all… coach Kerr must use all the new talents so many available by using Wiggs results is going to be downhill 100%! Buddy hill must start, so is moddy!!!!!
