I was going to post his 42-point game in the regular season a year later, mostly because this game left a bad taste in my mouth with the way it ended, but anyone who tells you that this Game 7 performance isn’t his most iconic game is lying. This was the game where Lu Dort showed the rest of the NBA world who he really was.
A fan favorite and genuinely elite perimeter defender, Dort is well on his way to becoming one of the best undrafted players in NBA history. All 30 teams in the NBA would jump to sign someone with his skillset, but Presti and the Thunder were the ones who gave him that chance half a decade ago.
