This kid built differently
Like Wemby, we feel a progression game after game, Stephon is one of the players above the rest. I can't wait for the season to start.

Great pickup for the spurs. Rob is amazing as well but the Spurs need the size the spurs need the defense. Rob Dillingham is going to be elite offensively but he’s going to be a liability defensively from his size and his talent. he’s gonna have a Trae Young ceiling but this guy is gonna be so nice..

All I think about with Steph is how DJM and DW developed over their time with the Spurs. Both had talent and motor defensively, but their offensive games grew so much, particularly DJM who couldn't really shoot consistently at all and didn't have a particularly strong playmaking game. Steph already has better feel for the game on and off the ball, more size, more serviceable handles, and a willingness to try things, even if they aren't a strength right now like shooting. Based on his starting point, even if his growth trajectory is no better than DJM, he'll be better NBA player than him and DW who can swing between 3 positions. Things are looking good.
