The Memphis Grizzlies Discovered a 5’8 Passing GENIUS | Japanese PG Yuki Kawamura

Every year, there’s always a story or two about a player who no one thought had any shot of competing for an NBA roster. A player everyone counted out, but then whether through an extremely impressive summer league performance, a standout year in some summer tournament, or a really impressive camp/preseason, a player finds his way on to an NBA roster. This year, that player could be Japanese point guard Yuki Kawamura. Kawamura, a young and extremely talented guard, is not the type of player anyone ever expected to have a chance at the NBA, but through an incredible summer at the Olympics, and now impressive performances for the Grizzlies in the preseason, many are trying to figure out if Kawamura has a chance to make an NBA roster, or even earn good minutes off the bench as a backup for Ja. Where did he come from, what does he do well, and does he have the potential to make a difference this year?

  1. Many stars has been undrafted and many duds has been drafted. Best example and he also happens to be asian is Jeremy Lin. Lin was an all-american and broke many records in NCAA and was projected to be a first round #9 pick analytics by Houston Rockets.
