Rockets governors have been on record saying they want flexibility in the future. Didn't want to max out both Green and Segun. Jalen didn't want to take a chance of an injury preventing him from accepting a max offer sheet somewhere else and Houston matching it. Hedged his bets at receiving some life changing money now. Respect!

Why are we talking about players's contracts so much and if they're worth it? Who cares, fans and media don't pay the salaries and can't determine the ROI satisfaction for the actual owner who does pay them.
