Gotta remember it's still a sensitive situation…just 2 1/2 weeks ago, players from both teams had NO IDEA they were getting traded. No trade talks, no trade rumors, both just finished sucessful seasons. Then boom: the trade goes down. Training camp just a few days afterward.
I personally think both teams FOs (front offices) handled it badly. Especially that close to the season. But they did what they had to do. They could've just informed the players beforehand to get an explanation. Then they had a preseason game?? Of course tempers gonna flare. DiVincenzo had one as well with assistant coach Rick Brunson (Jalen's dad)
Fans that were close to the bench were saying that Julius and Dante kept saying disrespectful things towards the team throughout the whole night bad mouthing
Minnesota must really be cold weather wise. Donte DiVicienzo would have never been a Knick to begin with if Thibs didn't give his OK on the signing. Let alone have a career season with the Knicks.
