  1. Smart contract for Rudy. He's going to be so valuable for us in these upcoming years, especially when he develops some post moves and aggression

  2. Why do you continue to not utilize our bench and not call more timely timeouts finch? When certain players lack energy & can't make shots, You put players in that wanna play hard and can help create & make shots. Your lack of versatility and ego lost us this game. The whole point of trading Town's was to give others a run and build around Ant's talents. No excuses for tonight. We have every right to be pissed. Kick it up x10!

  3. They looked sloppy af. It looked like a team of superstars trying to ISO every time down. Passing right to defense, even Conley, think this summer was a slouch from success last year.

  4. I don’t want to keep hearing about the ball getting sticky. You’re the coach finch, fix it.

  5. offensively this was abysmal. defensively were decent when rudy was on the floor, trash when he was off. Your offense is shit coach, its been a problem for 3 years. whats not clicking?

  6. WOW. What a garbage game. Way to get embarrassed by the Lakers. Absolutely disgusting defense. I do not know how I can watch this team at all. And hey Coaching staff, Maybe you can figure out why Hachimura kills you every time you play him.

  7. Why do we need time to gel? Did Raptors need to time after DeRozan and Kawhi trade? Nope. Thats a poor excuse. That is what practice is for. Its just basketball. Not that hard of a sport.

  8. Does anybody understand that this is a new team and they don't really know how to play together yet thus explains why tonight was a no go?

  9. Just remember Timberwolves fans, the Lakers were winning this game so handedly that they just put in Bronie for no reason other than publicity. Your season opener was turned into a gimmick. And you still couldn't win.

  10. Julius Randle doesn't help spread the floor…. not much gravity. He plays ISO ball which slows down the pace. Timberwolves play better with pace !

  11. Losing KAT is always gonna be a step backwards at first, and this game 1 was testing our main 8 players. From mid November onwards we'll fix it all up and be at top 🐺💯

  12. Trash and lazy coach. Super lazy coach. Compare Finch to rookie Reddick and Finch is sleeping. This guy is getting free money from the organization.

  13. The worst Defense I ever seen from this team . Horrible!! And zero terrible terrible turnovers …bad bad bad bad

  14. lol there was no effort at all and yes defense needs you to move and do things

  15. Just 2 players were ready to play : Rudy and NAW. The rest of them… and Naz Reid is absolutely a ghost in defense…

  16. I know it’s early but:
-Randle is too small, no effort or awareness on defense
-Gobert has never been convincing in a wolves uniform, period. He’s too soft and never actually STOPS THE BALL/stop interior scoring. DPOY? Good one!

We’re gonna get bullied inside all freaking season, just watch 🤦‍♂️🙄

  17. Got outcoached by jj f’n reddick 😂. Lost to a laker team that shot 16% from 3. Sheesh!

  18. Here's my assignment.

-Randle: played with no passion, no heart, lazy basketball like he didn’t wont to be there.

-McDaniels: was actually not shy at shooting the ball and I like that. Still play hard defensive basketball and still commit to much foul for his aggressive defense.

-Gobert: stuggle against AD like always, not suprise he always struggle against bigger body players getting back into the rim everytime. Offensively its Gobert dont expect much.

-ANT: he did ANT stuff… good.

-Conley: He was supper shy at shooting the ball. Why IDK 🤷‍♂️ maybe it's game one, but he was super shy to shot the ball 🤔.

-DiVinceno: love his offensive game love it love it. Defensive I just think it's not his strong point.

-Alexander Walker: He play as good as you would always expect him to play so i aint mad.

-Ried: he play as well as you expected him to, so I aint mad.

-Ingle: he's just old 😂good teammates I didn't have any expectation for him much beside being the old man father in the locker room looking after the boys. 😂

As for the other Timberwolves players cant say they didn't see the floor.

But honestly Ried would of been a better match up against AD defensively as he show it early in the 4th quarter shutting AD down which got Timberwolves within 4 points. Then finch decided to change the line up 🤦.

For crying out loud even Luka Garza on the bench would of been a better match up on AD.

They at least have the strength to hold off AD body strength to body strength. Instead of Gobert being posted back up into the rim like a skinny twig. 😒

  19. I'll say it again, what will really make this team special is if you average at least 11 guys in a game. Donte clearly had issues scoring, so 3 of his minutes could have easily gone to someone else, putting you at 10 players.

  20. It's way too soon to make drastic judgements about this team. The ball movement is bad, but that can change… the ball moved great in the preseason. The only thing that I really didn't like was the lack of effort from certain players. Randle in particular didn't box out a few times and was very lazy when closing out to 3 point shooters.

  21. Figure out a way to package Randle for a good back up center. Dude is a round peg in a square hole.

  22. How are they so consistent defensively last year and this year they look completely flat

  23. Gotta cut Naw, Gobert, julius, Miller and Nix. Keep Donte he glad he ain’t gettin traded no more and can plays defense so a starting shooting sf is needed and he’s like a backup if Ant somewhat hits a slump a night or two. Start Rob and Ried while Conley facilitates the bench. A spot for second string clears as Conley gets his chip and fair share. That Bench being tj, minot, Garza and Jesse Edwards

  24. Shoulda traded gobert not KAT. Dpoy can’t guard any center that is even slightly talented. Only plus side of the trade was Donte. Randle literally looked like he was counting the minutes until he could go home.
