They will sit anyone who farts the wrong way…this is a tank season people.
He meant to say: “I have nothing left to prove. I wanna go home and chill while getting my bag.”
I clearly remember Kawhi stating, that he wanted to go home to raise his family. That was most important to him. Don’t start that revisionist history crap now. Uncle Dennis helped crash his career. 👎🏽
Kawhi was just a quick memory. Sure we won a championship when he was here but it’s a quick memory. I don’t even see people walking around the city with kawhi jersey’s anymore. Say what you want about Vince Carter bit his legacy was greater than Kawhi’s! This is why you see people still walking around the city with Vince Carter jersey’s.
Kawhi kawhi kawhi… bla bla bla.. so tired of hearing about this guy..
Legacy? Even his Parade picture with the sunglass reflection is a thing of legend
Such a dumb comment and completely clueless. That dude could have been a god in Toronto and Canada for tha matter.
Kawhi legacy is : He was a great player whose career was ruined by injuries . He desire to create a legacy in Los Angeles, was the reason why he played when he should have load managed his bad knee and that desire ruined the legacy he wanted to create.
Kawhi had good doctors here but didn’t take heed.
I USE TO DO SOME WORK FOR A LADY THAT OWNED A PRIPERTY THAT MY EX MANAGED THAT HE STAYED WHILE IN TORONTO. HE LEFT BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BE IN HIS NATIVE STATE AND HIS WOMAN DIDN'T LIKE THE COLD HERE. I PERSONALLY THINK IT WAS HIS AMERICAN FAMILY THAT WAS THE MAIN COMPONENT TO HIS DEPARTURE. I THINK WE COULD HAVE TREEPEATED OF HE STAYED.
Walters and Brown have shown the fans nothing so far anyway. I hope Brown will get health and show out so the Raptors can get something for him when he is traded. I can't for the life of me figure out why they didn't let him walk. They would have had 23 million dollars to work with.
There is no way on earth that RJ would not play!
Khawhi can say anything he wants. We got a chip! Nuff said, Bub!
While I agree that it was a stupid move to leave and that he could have built a legacy here which he started. If he won a few championships with the Clippers he would have certainly built a legacy by reviving that franchise and created a story line to make the clippers compete legacy wise with the Lakers… obviously 20:20 hindsight suggests it didn’t turn out that way. Also it’s a product of excessive interviewing and tired, lazy athlete responses which are often cliche and not well thought out.
Can we all collectively stop giving a shit about Kawhi Leonard already. Leave the man be. I don't want any player here who is not committed to this organization. The Clippers have done plenty of "load management" with KL and he still has been injury prone. His best days are clearly far behind him. I say that the Raptors dodged a bullet. They would've paid him a supermax for riding the bench most of the contract and then would not have been able to move him because of his injury history. Moving on….
The true reason Kawhi left is because uncle Dennis couldn't get money under the table from the Raptors but Clippers owner can give him that.
While Kawhi was the face of the championship, let's not forget the rest of the team needed to show up! Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol, Danny Green, Steady Freddy, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Norman Powell, Surge Ibaka and fuckin Lin_sanity!
The true heros…and some unfortunate GS injuries…🎉
I think the Clippers will be a contender in the NBA this year. The Raptors gotta work on all cylinders to win tonight. Go go go! Raptors!
Since when did the kings get mobley d.mitch and garland, holay i want no smoke with that team
I don’t care what the man said he will always be a legend to me, without him we wouldn’t have a championship
Will always love Leonard, 2019 was my all time favorite season ❤️ and I've been watching since 95
Uncle Dennis, enough said
Kawhi is out if my mind. Could have built something, but he made a mistake and left. Man’s legacy for always will be a “could’ve been”. Let’s move on from him.
As for the Kawhi thing it is what it is. He would of been a king in Toronto had he stayed but i am happy how it worked out because of Barnes. Pre draft i was intrigued then fell in love no diddy the way he came in dancing during the draft. To have a player this excited to join us was not something I ever expected to see in my lifetime, then to watch the kind of player he is and is becoming. Man we are building something special in Toronto. Id much rather have a player who embraced us as opposed to having a player we kind of had to beg and pull the rug infront of him everywhere we go to keep him here. And he still left lol
get your hair cut
I mean it's unlikely there was a legacy in either event given his knee injury from 2019 hasn't healed. Sorta moot.
He's not the first NBA superstar to go to LA or NY with the thought of creating a legacy there.
What a dummy comment.
Ayeeee
