Are we sure the Knicks aren't playing a 2-3 zone on that possession at 1:50? I mean, I'm not saying it's a good zone. They're way too packed in if so. And I'm not saying zone is a good idea against Boston. But that looks like a textbook 2-3 if I've ever seen one. If that's the case, Towns is actually in the right spot. It's Brunson and Hart who need to come out more. You could be right though. It could just be terrible man defense.
I was surprised of how unprepared the Knicks looked, it seems like they didn't study any of the Celtics finals film. That being said, it's hard for anyone to beat Celtics to 4 games in a series.
