The Knicks continue to look for options to fill this roster out completely. New York has until November 5th to add two players to the team or face a penalty. While NY will likely use all the time given to them to make a decision, it seems that they have their eyes set on three players. Justin Holiday, Lonnie Walker IV & Matt Ryan, with the latest reports indicating NY could be interested in adding Holiday back to the team. But Matt Ryan & NY also have mutual interest in getting a deal done. At 6’6 and only 27 years old, he’s the better option and fit for NY at this point… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Man, I hate feeling like crap that i didnt felt confident with our Knicks. But it shows that I support very much for them to ensure they can bring a W to their record. Its not that I don't trust our boys to perform well, it just comes to show that I'm aware that there's an issue within our team and I want them to take action to ensure getting Ws all the way!

I hear what you are saying about youth over a vet in a vacuum, but there is a reason that teams who are already in a position to chase a ring don’t fill out the end of their roster with young guys, especially when they already have prospects. Young guys want a situation where they can count on consistently getting significant playing time and have a shot at getting paid. I don’t think the Knicks can promise either. Vets are willing to sacrifice their role for a chance to get a ring.
I'm with you Troy. I hope that the Knicks can really get Matt Ryan frfr. The squad without be DANGEROUS in spite of their loss to Boston.

Oh please nothing has worked so far. I’m not going to get excited until I see them gell as a team and see them shoot more consistently and also Tibs let the bench also get a chance to play. He always burns his players that’s why they had so many injuries last year and Shamet also got injured during the preseason. Let’s see what happens.
Lonnie is the optimal choice, hes a hooper and a better option than Ryan since Lonnie is more of a 2way player. Ryan can shoot no doubt, but his defense is suspect.

I like the Idea of Holliday, defense and shooting, plus the opportunity to compete agaisnt his lil bro. Any edge we can get, I really like it
I don’t mind Walker, Ryan is washed. The guy I want them to get is Tre Mann from Charlotte. He can shoot and can create his own shot and he’s only 23. Right now Brunson is the only shot creator we have.
