  1. That was hard to watch, feel like there were no plays run to get Scottie a good look and he was forcing it trying to do everything on his own

  2. Watched the 1st quarter pre physics midterm feeling pretty good. Then wrote the most atrocious test of my life and came back to this disaster. Wtf.

  3. I had no expectations for them but damn… 30 piece'd at home. Yeah, it's gonna be a long season.

  4. its like Scottie is regressing, different year, same moves….you got to improve your dribble and skills to get past your defender to get to the basket….if you can't post properly. its all forced moves today from scottie. OWNED by MOBLEY Today

  5. Where are you seeing the Garland tweet? I don't see anything and I didn't see any other Raptors media mention it

  6. We know you love every bad night by Scottie Lou. Considering your precious FVV is gone 😂😂

  7. Man, scottie's lack of any bag is depressing. He's at risk of being " over rated". The complaining, and asking for coaches challenge when it's obvious he committed the foul is getting old, fast

  8. Also the funniest thing about Bruno Fernando is that he would never have been on this team if Jontay Porter didn’t have a gambling addiction 😅

  9. I hold the coaching staff responsible for not preparing the team properly and failing to scout the Cavaliers effectively. They should have anticipated the Cavs' strategies, including how to handle their zone defense. It was also clear that the new coach planned to make Evan Mobley a more active player compared to the previous season. All it took was watching Kenny Atkinson’s pre-game interview—he explicitly stated that Mobley would be more aggressive and that they aimed to slow down Scottie Barnes. Throughout the summer, the Cavs trained Mobley to be more assertive and attack more. Our coaching staff failed to ensure that our team was ready for these adjustments, which ultimately reflects a lack of scouting and preparation.

  10. I'd honestly rather give Ulrich Chomche the starting Center spot over giving minutes to Bruno Fernando in the 1st quarter

  11. "Jakob Poeltl is a championship piece." He's so bad he got the spurs Victor Wembanyama, and he will tank the Raptors to Cooper Flagg

  12. Shead is already a bigger leader on this team than Barnes is. That is a natural talent/skill. Barnes shouldn't be pressured into an unnatural role.

  13. The fact the Darko tried to challenge a non challengable play says everything you need to know about it. Trash

  14. I am a die hard Raptor supporter, so I always want my team to win. That having been said, I am truly pissed with SB. There’s no excuse for the way he played, the way he approached the game. I don’t want to watch us lose bc of lack of effort by SB. Someone ought to tell him that leadership requires getting his nose dirty. Score the ball, defend the ball, let the coaches coach. Scottie, your responsibility is to put your stamp on the game.
Last thing I have to say is this. There a time for coaching to win a game, and then there’s practice. I put a lot of this loss on coach. He can’t watch us fall behind 10 pts and more without making changes.
They didn’t shut down SB, he shut down himself.
I don’t want talking, I want effort all around.
    Go Raptors Go

  15. Packed house for home opener – spent $100 a ticket for 300’s, parking$, food and drinks makes it a very $$ night . I’m gonna be watching them on tv from now on…ain’t worth it.

  16. Scottie’s needs to grow emotionally before he can really be the leader of this team. There was one sequence when he gave up on the ball because he thought it was a dead ball even though the whistle had not blown, which allowed the Cavs to go on a break. Also there was another sequence when he failed to get back on D because he was jawing at the ref. The Raps just looked completely unprepared. Growing concerned about Darko. He also allowed the game to get out of hand, before calling really late timeouts. Having said this they are missing 4 very good players. When I saw the lineup today I knew it was going to be trouble.

  17. everyone keeps saying rebuild but all the starters are on their 2nd and 3rd contracts. doesnt feel like a real rebuild

  18. Atleast the jerseys were nice.

Can we make the court purple and bring back the dino at center court?
That could make these types of losses easier to bear.

And I agree with your point about Shead. His compete level is there. I want to see how he does guarding Maxey when we face them next.
Jamal seems like he can get to the rim at ease whenever he wants to.

Question, who do you think draws a charge first, Gradey or Shead?

  19. Thank goodness this wasn't broadcast on any local channels last night. That was a rough one 😅. They will get better over the season…

  20. I said it before and I'll say it again, Scottie is not that dude. He's a good player but he can't be the engine of your offense. He just doesnt have the shot making and advantage creating skill set. Superstars win chips in the NBA and Scottie will.never be one. I dont say that to hate on him, I would love nothing more than for him to be a superstar. Just calling balls and strikes.

I won't even get into his attitude and lack of energy when things are going poorly. It's not what leaders are made of.

  21. Will Lou you keep referencing Lowry as the great leader for Toronto which he was..But let's not forget when he was younger he was very immature and fighting with coached. He didnt arrive to Toronto until he was 26 years old and still needed time become leader he was. We need to have patience with Barnes his 23 years old lets not forget that

  22. New subscriber. Need a legit raps podcast in my rotation and i think i found it. giddy up

  23. Paid $450 per ticket for 7 of us. Do the math. It was a complete embarrassment. I will be watching on tv from here on out.

  24. Could've been worse? I dunno. I just hope this isn't the norm for every game all season.

    Lawdamercy Bounty Killer voice

  25. It was bothering me the whole show, but the word you were looking for might have been "triage."

  26. It's a very bad look when Scottie is hunting fouls and complaining….put the ball in the hole Scottie!
