The nuggets didn’t look old, they looked like they’re still relying on that pick and roll and when joker isn’t on the court they can’t score…..and they didn’t get him a back up, why the didn’t go get Kenny Lofton Jr is beyond me, at least he can at the very least give Jokic a rest from time to time, he’s going to run out of gas just like they did last year if they keep doing this to him…..

I always laugh when guys win a chip, media and fans assume they will be unstoppable and win multiple chips or make multiple finals appearances. Yall did it with Giannis then with Joker. Now with Luka. THERES A REASON WHY THERES ONLY ONE LEBRON..its hard to sustain not only that level of greatness, but the IMPACT to get your team to finals over nd over. Theres levels.

Being from colorado. Unfortunately I have seen this for many years, when it comes to the way the owners run the teams out there. They will put good players on a team which will last for a couple of years, then they will trade away those same players for monetary reasons. Which in return. Sends the team in reverse and they go back to being sorry like they were previously.

right after winning championship i recalled that I mentioned that Denver will have payroll issue and the whole nuggets fans act like I'm a certain jealous team fans. Then the year after winning championship, they lost the bench, now their core is really expensive. The bench is still not good, getting Westbrook is not a game changer. Welp, as per usual, it's one game. We'll see how it unfolds after 40 games.

Nuggets made a huge mistake signing Westbrook. Now they have chemistry issues…when was the last time Westbrook played winning basketball for a winning team. Sigh of relief for the rest of the West, knowing Nuggets will stink this year.
I get why teams overpay to retain their top players, but Murray, Gordon, and MPJ are all overpays for what they do. I know Denver didn’t want to lose Bruce Brown and KCP, but they just couldn’t afford them at that point.
