For New Orleans, Brandon Ingram led the way with 21 points (4 3PM), 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals while Jordan Hawkins (24 points (4 3PM), 5 rebounds), CJ McCollum (20 points (4 3PM), 4 steals), and Zion Williamson (16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 blocks) combined for 60 points in the victory. Jerami Grant finished with 34 points (career-high 8 3PM), 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks while Anfernee Simons tallied 24 points and 7 assists for Portland in the losing effort. The Pelicans improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Trail Blazers fall to 0-2.
