  1. donte driving lanes and attempts at the rim are empty possessions aka tov. i dont see the net gain from repeatedly giving him that role when his undeniable value is off ball movement catch and shoot. is this how KAT became gun shy? let him do what he does best just like how you want julius to be himself and to fit the team around that skill set. his primary action is move wo ball and catch and shoot as a release valve for the offense. get film of how defenses play him and then play around with his secondary actions to build chemistry. the nxt right play will be much clearer after you see how defenses are forced to play him whilst playing to his strengths.

  2. donte on defense needs to be the trail guy with jayden or rudy meeting guys in the paint. like how mike gets his hands on balls from a trail position donte can do that too. youre asking wayyy too much of him to be a rim presence when you have plenty of that in other guys whos upside is doing that and whos downside is what donte provides you when his confidence is high.

  3. Yall need to sort out your defensive communication when Gobert is in there. hes too often in the first half seeing 2v1 or ball watching without communicating his help position and when the trail defender should be rotating to the other roller. if he cant be the backbone to the defense with CONSTANT consistent clear communication to help his teammates and also take criticism then you have a huge problem…

  4. figure out your best off ball and on ball assignments based on lineup rotations and clearly define some roles so that chemistry can build. i have my opinions on it already after only watching 2 games. but i see a lot of pressing the issue instead of naturally countering whats infront of you aka alot of empty possessions and not the right way to build confidence or build chemistry.

  5. guard guard is the trend what about nas/ julius with nas getting the hand off drawing out bigs and obv we know what julius can do with the ball. i want to see rudy handle the ball more too all over the floor. if that doesnt create a drive oop or kick catch and shoot swing swing idk what will. even a small sample of ingles too he's a calming presence on the floor for those short spirts to give diff look.

  6. NAW has changed my mind he has some good bball iq, effort and sense of where the danger is while being able to react without overreacting.

  7. The notion that Joe Ingles should be playing more is ludicrous. It is coaching malpractice playing the corpse of Ingles over Minott.

  8. today saw the bad side of julius had jayden for a WIDE OPEN three and he forced it in the paint. Sure he is his best when aggressive but whats best for the team is being aggressive but unpredictable with his playmaking. sheesh then jayden on the other end got lit up for a three. team game cant look off a teammate like that when its the MOST OBVIOUS RIGHT PLAY.

  9. The front court is fine. The PG spot and a solid wing is where the Wolves need to upgrade.

Conley will be fine for a playoff run, but not all season. Donte is cool but not a PG.

Conley is 37, and if you're not building up Rob to be next, then you have to address the PG spot now anyway.

  10. Amazing coach really knows what he’s doing. Just wish on games like the lakers one he’d give some hustle guys some minutes when the starters get lazy. Randle is great but sometimes the hustle is there and sometimes it isn’t. Josh minott has shown he can do good things and Garza as well.
