Reminds me of a high school basketball game… we were playing Sherman Indian high school… on an Indian reservation.
At one point this big (thick) American Indian lady starts yelling in a husky voice, “PUT BO IN! I SAID, PUT BO IN!” Not 10 seconds later they put Bo in. And not 5 seconds later he gets a lost ball. Immediate after that the same lady yells, “TAKE BO OUT!” they immediately took Bo out…. It was wild.
Scal is such a good dude. I ran into him twice now. Once out on causeway street before a game we both just ended up at a crosswalk and my son there. He took a pic and talked for a minute. I know he was super busy and probably had to go but he took a couple minutes out of a busy day. Always will be a fan of him. I’m glad he stuck around Boston.
I remember going to a game in probably 09. Celtics were up by maybe 30 with a few minutes left and they finally went in and the crowd that stayed just kept chanting SHOOT IT whenever Scal had the ball in his hands. Even when he was inbounding from the other side of the court. He made a 3 that put us up probably 35 with a minute left and the place went nuts! Same reaction if it was a game winner at the buzzer. Thats one of my core memories lol
I made it a part of my personality in middle school to be a Scal fan. I even had a Bulls hat from Lids with Scalabrine etched into it. Miss those times
White mamba was a fan favorite and the legend! If he would have play ten yrs later when the game changed to where center and pf’s could shoot 3’s he would have been even more known, dude still a g!
There will never be another white mamba. At the end of his career I remember him going in for like a minute and going 1-1 for a quick two points and place going nuts regardless of the score
Here’s my opinion, he was actually a good player. I know he never had eye popping numbers but he loved the game and respectfully played it no matter what team he played on. To even make it to the NBA is a dream all into it self. In reality how many guys never make it and dream of even averaging the numbers he put up. I say good for him.

One of the very few times that ‘the people don’t care about Derrick rose’ is acceptable😂
We LOVED that red headed beast in Chicago!
This man began the era of Celtics fans obsessing over our bench players & I love him forever for that
We love the white mamba

"Getting up in age." Yet, you've lost the instructions that came with your cap.
I still have no idea who he is 😂😂

The Human Victory Cigar 😂
I remember going to a game with my buddy, brother, and my mom in 2012 and my brother started chanting “SCALA…BRI…NE”. Guys a legend
And Boston fans haven’t changed much since! I’ll never forget when Brad Stevens put Tacko Fall in and he hit a 3. So electric.
Scally wag for 3…..bang!
