For Cleveland, Jarrett Allen led the way with 20 points (9-12 FG), 17 rebounds, and 2 blocks while Donovan Mitchell (24 points (4 3PM), 7 assists, 3 steals) and Evan Mobley (25 points (12-16 FG), 5 rebounds) combined for 49 points in the victory. Lebron James finished with 26 points and 6 rebounds while Anthony Davis recorded 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 2 steals for Los Angeles in the losing effort. The Cavaliers improve to 5-0 on the season, while the Lakers fall to 3-2.
This is the first time since 2016-17 (started 6-0) that the Cleveland Cavaliers have started 5-0
Third time in franchise history, since 1976-77 when they started 8-0.

I hope the Cavs figure out how to win with less energy. Moving that fast all season long will lead to injuries. Also, it leads to exhaustion late in games and seasons. But it sure is exciting!

All the JB defenders when he initially was let go need to apologize. Kenny Atkinson has this team on a whole different level. They went from a mediocre (middle of the pack) offense to putting up 130 PPG. what was JB even doing?
I genuinely believe Christie shouldn’t be allowed on the court, or at least not for extended minutes. His offensive efficiency is extremely low, and defensively, he makes no impact. I don’t understand why management insists on giving him so much playtime, which undoubtedly harms the team. I hope the team makes the right call and gives skilled players like Knecht more opportunities on the court.
