  1. That willingness to change the coaching strategy based on what the defense gives was a hard lesson that Durant spear headed when we almost lost to the Rockets back in the day, now Steve Kerr can't allow that to happen again

  2. Nobody in the league seems to have anywhere close to the aggregate basketball IQ of the Warriors. And nobody is as unselfish as a team.

  3. Maybe you're right about Moody/Kuminga minutes allocation, but they were saying similar things last year and Kuminga ended up playing a larger role. I think Kuminga is just the better player between the two and will continue demonstrating that this season, even if his offensive floor is a little lower.

  4. most nba teams are run like a duo or three individuals with supporting casts. when they say nba is a team sports not it’s not, they are bunch of individuals performing roles in a 5vs5 match up. unless it’s golden state, they are a team.

  5. Love your takes… but initially you did not pick the Warriors in the series versus the Celtics. You said the Celtics would win.

  6. Dubs won 3 games in a row to close out the Finals and this clown still sound like dumbass Grant thinking the Celtics were/are more talented. Only dumbasses think that or stubborn mfs who don't want to admit they were wrong AF. Guess he don't believe his own damn eyes. Ppl act like 29 other teams wouldn't GLADLY trade for Steph Klay Wiggs and Dray for their best 4 players….and ppl act like 29 other teams wouldn't trade for Poole Wiseman Kuminga and Moody for 4 of their youngest players….IN OTHER WORDS THE DUBS ARE THE MOST TALENTED TEAM IN THE NBA. PERIOD.

  7. I love how he went from doubting they were of capable of anything last season to having them as his number one, when most don't even have them in top 3.
    Real analysis going on here👍🏾

  8. I thought this was Draymond podcast ‼️My fault. I like listening to Draymond and Iggy.

  9. They have what can’t be bought. Chemistry built over 10 years together. Player mobility has ruined any chance to catch them in this category. A slow cooked meal will always be better than a microwaved one.

  10. Jason is the best NBA analyst on YouTube. His videos are:
-Knowledgeable enough that viewers like me could always learn something new
-Simple to understand for dumb viewers like me
-Entertaining enough that viewers like me with short attention span was able watched the entire thing!

  11. No team is beating this squad 4 times. This year defensively they will be absolutely dominant. Thats the factor that will get them past the Clippers or Celtics who have the most depth and two way guys outside of GS.

  12. The consistency and quality of these videos is fucking awesome can’t wait for more this season

  13. I’m still a bit baffled by why Jason continues to insist that the Celtics are more “talented” than the Warriors. I don’t see it. Put their rosters side by side, man to man, and tell me where Boston’s talent difference is.

  14. As he continues to cover the entire league, Jason has increasingly improved his ability to report without demonstrating overt favoritism to anyone team. Good stuff man and continue improving your content

  15. GS plays team basketball. That is huge. Many teams don’t. It’s ISO or pick for the Star and no one else.

  16. What happens this year when Payton and Porter aren’t there to help contain the faster guys? Payton’ was amazing, he was like a Steph curry for the defense where stephs offense is defense, Payton’s defense was offense. They messed up letting him go.

  17. Jason delivers the best analysis with the right mix of hoops knowledge and metrics.
Regarding the Warriors. Watch the scoring runs when Steph, Klay and Poole are on the floor. And then blazing quick bigs as Wiggins, Kuminga and Wiseman team up. Add shutdown defense. Warriors look pretty amazing in any best of seven matchup.

  18. Can we get a best Offensive/Defensive team list based on personnel going into the new season

  19. Thank you for giving credit to the Warriors ability to contain Boston's dribble penetration as a key to their success in the Finals. We've all heard the chatter from so-called analysts saying that the Celtics simply gave away that series by committing too many turnovers without giving the Warriors' defense their due for being the primary reason for those TOs in the first place.

  20. Warriors are #1 because when healthy, Nobody can beat them duh… and now Klay will be more fully healed from those crazy injuries. The young pups will be more experienced and play more minutes in the regular season to allow the big dogs to play more in the post season. It’s not gonna be close at all, that’s why Stephen A straight up said the warriors are gonna repeat 😂

  21. I really respect your analysis but I still can’t wrap my head around how you had mavs in 5 ? Like

  22. A bit surprised that you picked 3 different players as x factors, no Klay Thompson among them. That might mean you’ve already made up your mind about weither or not he might ever get back to where he was. I’d get that. But from what you said during the finals and since, you believe it just takes time.
I was never crazy high on Klay, but still, if he were to get back to his height, they don’t need any additional shooting from poole or moody. Thats a wrap

  23. If they were able to keep the previous championship roster, I say they 100% have the chance to repeat as long as health permits. But they lost 2 game changers in GP2 and Otto Porter Jr. Can Moody, Kuminga, Wiseman or DiVincenzo step up and take one of those guys’ places? I don’t think so to be honest.

That said, it should be a fun season for the Warriors with a healthier Klay and their championship swagger. Whether or not they repeat, they’re going to be a really tough out with the way Wiggins and Poole have taken their games to the next levels.
