Mac McClung (Warriors Vs Wizards) Preseason Debut (9 Pts, 2 Rebs, 2 Assists)

Mac had an excellent game, playing the entire 4th quarter, finishing with 9 pts on 4-6 shooting, 2 boards, 2 assists, 0 turnovers and a plus 20

He looked so much more comfortable and confident this game opposed to his preseason games last year with the Lakers. Really looks like a true point guard out there and also played impressive defense, guarding lottery pick Johnny Davis much of the game.

Not sure if he will make the Warriors or not, it will be tough… but I”m pretty confident some other team will pick him up if he doesn’t.

  1. Way to work Mac , Mac can take anybody.. What great vision and creativity with the ball .. a real future NBA star

  2. Man, if he can’t get the 15th spot I hope they can get him as a 2 way player

  3. This kid needs a chance. He broke Iverson's record. McClung broke the VHSL single-season scoring record previously held by Hall of Famer Allen Iverson during the 2018 VHSL regional playoffs on February 21, surpassing Iverson's record of 948 points in 25 games—five fewer than it took Iverson to amass the previous record. So I say we keep him.

  4. Feel like I was literally controlling my rookin in 2K lol. Got us 2 pts to take the lead, didn't force shots, got a couple assists, played D, got one 3. Raising through the ranks.

  5. Mcclung would bring really good inspiration energy to the team if they sigh him as 15th. Every championship team have that little one small guy that can dunk to hype up the team momentum. Mcclung can be that guy. Last season it was Gary Payton 2

  6. He is not shy…high energy for a rookie. all he needs is more floor time this pre season

  7. His energy was great this game. Love that crafty layup at the end. Steph was watching like 👀

  8. He’s playing great on defense for his size and set up his teammates several times. They missed shots, but Mac could’ve easily had 5 assists here.
