I hate this decision. My hatred for this decision is multi-layered.
E: Just to be clear, I’m talking about the waiving Trevion Williams part only to make room for Anthony Lamb esp with Lamb’s sexual assault/rape allegations
As someone who loves warriors basketball, I hate watching Mclung.
But I love the guy and his hustle and I’m praying he makes it to the league but just not with us!
I figured McClung wouldn’t stick, but I was liking Williams.
I expected Mclung to be waived eventually, but was hoping I’d get to see more Trevion.
I get McClung, but not sure I understand Trevion. He looked good in the games rebounding and passing. Is his D that bad? Or a bad attitude in the locker room?
I can understand dropping McClung but dropping Williams is pretty disappointing.

e: Just saw the allegations against Lamb…surprised they’re bringing him in. Doubt he makes the roster, but it ain’t the best look. Maybe they just wanted another wing to act as a body for scrimmages throughout camp? Still, if any part of those allegations hold some truth, eugh.
Trevion Williams is a very intriguing player but I guess he might be to old to be a project.

Those of us in the Spencer camp are still thriving…probably only for like another week or so though lol.
I just don’t think Trevion has enough in terms of defensively for the warriors. Interesting project for some teams though.

The Anthony Lamb news still sucks and I hope they drop him soon. But regarding Trevion, someone on Twitter pointed out he can still join Santa Cruz Warriors after getting waived. It can get complicated if another team offers him a two way or main roster spot though. I understand them keeping Lester Quiñones on a two way, he’s a pest on the perimeter and hustles a lot on defense. Still hope we can keep Trevion. And I like Pat Spencer more than Jerome Robinson. I think he will fit in better with our SCW roster.
I don’t want Lamb anywhere near this team.
I really liked McClung. But what do I know?
