At the end of the day this is your job. You want and need to get paid. I dont mind it. Its very understandable. If i was in your shoes i would expect the same. Some people are just close minded.

Raptors Republic continues to produce the best Raptors content there is, that 100% includes you Samson Folk, who might be the best analyst the Raptors have in this space. You could definitely be chasing that Sportsnet money or whatever it is if that's what you wanted to do. You all deserve to be properly compensated for the great work that gets put out!

I’ve been following RR since before Blake Murphy. You might hate to hear this but that’s exactly what RR is. People to work hard, put their time in and move on to bigger things. You guys don’t want to put your time in. I don’t know how you don’t see that this will fail. I wish you all could make money more than anything but that’s not what RR is unfortunately. RR will always find new talented people. If we pay for RR, you’re telling me Samson won’t bolt at the first opportunity for a bigger job? Of course he would because that’s the natural progression of things. RR isn’t for making a living. It’s putting your time in in the minors to hopefully make it to the big leagues. I’m really sorry if it sounds harsh. I’m a hardcore fan of RR since almost day one and I wish the world worked differently but it doesn’t.

Quality product produced by RR. You guys deserve to be paid. Paywall based journalism in general is much higher quality versus the ad supported stuff.
