The Sacramento Kings defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 105-75. Keegan Murray had a game-high 16 PTS along with 6 REB, while De’Aaron Fox added 10 PTS and 4 REB for the Kings in the victory. Anthony Davis tallied 11 PTS and 11 REB for the Lakers in a losing effort. The Kings improve to 1-0 in the NBA Preseason, while the Lakers fall to 0-1.

Three takeaways.
1.) I think Keegan Murray is going to turn some heads. The sheer versatility of him being a potential three level scorer is going to be fun to watch.
2.) I don’t think the Lakers are going to be trash, but I still am not sure about how they are going to make the playoffs.
However, Gabriel may be getting more minutes throughout the season, same with Scottie Jr.
3.) I genuinely do not know if either team makes the playoffs

Abysmal shooting, poor rebounding and lackluster defense leading to a blowout Laker loss… When have we seen that before?
I think people are overreacting to the overall score. We need to remember that Lebron, AD, and Russ only played the 1st half, and they actually looked good. They were up entering half time, then they started playing their players that were playing their first actual NBA game outside of summer league. My main concern is this team’s health. When healthy I still have high hopes that this team can make a deep run. AD especially, cuz he will be a big part of the season, we need him to show us what he can truly be and make us believe that these past 2 seasons were just a fluke.
Lakers starters looked good you can tell ad comfortable and not feeling any injuries in knee or wrist/hand cole swidler looked good pat bev looked good everyone else needs to step their game up just terrible and I expect lebron to be better next game he went 0/7 fg
If it's only preseason games don't play them at all. Start playing them the regular season then see what they say. Davis only shooting three pointers didn't get back when he hit one of them. LeBron I know you're a great player but father time is knocking. These young boys are not playing. Just like you they work out too.
