Remember the Chicago Bears with the Buddy Ryan defense. It was a defense so ferocious it just made the other team give up and stop playing because it straight took their hearts.
Your starters are way too cocky and think they can just win games by just walking on the floor.
If they don't get some kind of reality check you're going to have another bad season.
My name is GRIM and what I want to do is take your worst players or your bench and give them my N.B.A. Buddy Ryan defense and let them destroy your starters in practice scrimmages.
We will never show your starters how to play our style of defense, but your starters will get better and less cocky trying to beat us.
Once I turn your bench into killing machines then when we get in crucial Playoff games, we can switch out all 5 of the starters and put in my bench to hold a lead or take a lead because by the time the Playoff come around your bench will be a serious force.
That defense you guys are playing is going to get you killed by the good shooting teams in the N.B.A. My defense makes you pay a price for everything you do on the court.
…and only I can teach it.
