Derrick Rose: “The reality is I’m 33, turning 34 tomorrow. That guy that I used to be…had an ego. I been killed that ego a long time ago. So I’m a totally different person, which I should be. I’m way more mature, & still trying to challenge myself to be more vocal”

Does that mean he now knows what consent means? I still can’t believe people are inspired by this asshole

Losing two years of your prime to injury has a way of humbling you.

The last of a dying breed. Prime rose was somethin else

What I wouldn’t give for rose to be our back up PG

Lakers should get him on the squad for his locker room presence… maybe a former MVP can speak Westbrook’s language and get him to play a role

The way he plays these days is smooth, calculated, and he properly uses his tools to find open players or drive for a layup. However, it really stings a little to see him play like that when I get flashbacks of this small monstar flying up and down the court flying in the air and yamming it down

So much respect for this man! Very few in the nba learn this before they retire, and many never learn it at all! 👊

You gotta have an ego to make it to the league. Love how he’s reevaluated himself. Needs to speak with Russ about this lol

Rose should come back home and be our back up PG mentoring this young team. Then he can retire as a Bull. We miss you D Rose.

His knee-go is what ruined the D Rose of old. He was to be what Ja Morant is currently til the coach left him in too long.

This transformation alone deserves a HoF berth. His play style was fragile towards injuries as he had a bad landing and drived to the lane too much. However he grew up, changed how he played. Post injuries he gave us a lot of great moments. Everyone has a lesson to learn from his transformation.
