Tre Mann breaks out on both ends, Ousmane Dieng's path, Josh Giddey was great | OKC Thunder Podcast

Rylan Stiles (@Rylan_Stiles on Twitter) dives into the Oklahoma City Thunder’s first preseason game, as Tre Mann dominates offensively for the OKC Thunder. OKC saw Josh Giddey pick up right where he left off. Can the Thunder take a step as a unit behind the young rookies like Jalen Williams who performed so well for the Bricktown boys? When will people take Aaron Wiggins seriously? Jeremiah Robinson-Earl looks much improved, is Aleksej Pokusevski a real-life NBA player now?

  1. Ous and Poku pass the eye test, very nicely. I still envision the two plus Chet on the floor at the same time. A very exciting year in route. Thanks for your faithfulness.

what a backcourt in 5± years* for M Daigneault

*speculative , Presti prolly does not have the same roster to manage

hope Chip develops them to a bunch of 45% shooters…

    re: perimeter shooting –
    – drawing them out another 3feet will mean drop in shooting percentage

which is overlooked in MiamiHeat's Duncan Robinson's receding development/DE-development tension… Duncan may not have receded but it merely was he was run-off-the-line and moved his three point line back 3 feet… spacing can still draw them further out even with misses if you make high enough percentage like Duncan Robinson

Kyle Korver not really pushed off the line bacause a decade back the Morey-ball strategy and spacing was not in direct strategy armory of SteveKerr and coaches like Mike D'Antoni
