He’s got a boring fundamentally sound style to his play. I’d probably enjoy watching Mac a lot more, but the Warriors are so deep, they just need a guard who will constantly make the right play and not make mistakes. I have faith in the Warriors front office that Ty is the right player for the role he’s filling.

Jerome seems like a very Warriors-like player: good vision, makes good decisions, hustles, works on defense…if last season was an anomaly in terms of his shooting, he could be a reserve gem. Whether he’ll be good enough to “blow the Warriors away” enough to use their 15th roster spot on him seems…unlikely, I guess. But I think in a non-tax-constricted environment, they’d love to have Jerome be their 15th man.
