Luka Doncic was out for the Dallas Mavericks first preseason game but I gave us plenty of time to watch Christian Woods’ Mavs introduction and Jaden Hardy’s 4th Quarter takeover.

Nick Angstadt & Isaac Harris breakdown the Mavs preseason win over the Oklahoma City Thunder and who stood out. Christian Wood showed what he can do on offense but it was his defense that really stood out for the Mavs. Jaden Hardy is ready for his moment and hit a bunch of shots late to give the Mavs a win, what did we learn about how Jason Kidd will want to use him? Then, Josh Green, Spencer Dinwiddie, and McKinley Wright IV also showed flashes.

    Jaylen hardy is going to be good. Wood looked awful defensively he looks like porzingis on d, teams look to attack him, hope they teach him to play d.

    I absolutely hate the idea of Hardy being a garbage time player, his potential is insane for us. I literally could envision him becoming a Bradley Beal type player next to a Luka and he needs the experience his rookie year so he can grow and develop faster

    Seems like everyone loves Tulsa lol…. Most of the team was in street clothes watching from the tunnel before the 4th quarter even started. Everyone was just ready to go home on both teams

    All last year I was screaming how that team was the modern version of the 11 team. From the moment that trade happens that’s all I could see. I kept saying all we need is our chandler and we were gonna win that chip. I tell you what, I truly believe that if we had javale last year(and I’ll even throw in healthy Timmy) it would’ve been a guaranteed dub over dub and Boston

    To me there wasn’t much to take away from this game as the inclusion of Luka totally changes things.
