The only positives I think are Poole isn’t hurt and that it happened during camp. Let it down during the preseason instead of mid season build up. Also the chemistry was really amazing last season so it could still be fine
Draymond was on track to be in the running for DPOY in the beginning of last season. He was an all star last year. He is a hall of fame player. He is the toughest in the NBA. He fucked up by smacking up a teammate with a history of talking shit. Poole is a great player, but needs to respect the vets and play ball. Dray apologized. Now time to move on.

Draymond has the emotional control of a three-year old. People say “It’s just his passion.” Bullshit. There are plenty of passionate players in the NBA and every other major sports league who bring passion and energy without being a ticking time bomb.
Draymond brings and enormous amount to the Dubs, INCLUDING his passion, but this is as much a negative as his poor shooting, possibly more. As the FO & Ownership are figuring out what to do with our impending financial catastrophe, this negative aspect of Draymond’s behavior needs to be factored in.
It’s arguable he cost us a Ring in 2016, who knows when that will happen again? Here’s a hint: Not Draymond.
