RJ is truly tough. I can’t remember him ever flinching or showing weakness at the pressure that’s on him. I mean to be drafted after Zion and Ja and land IN NEW YORK!? Barrett’s mental toughness and professionalism is honestly surprising.
Love the attitude RJ brings to the table. The NYC hate is so real. When I left home in the early 90s to join the military, the hate for the city and all its teams drove me to love all my NY teams even more. All the talking heads on ESPN, TNT, FOX, and NBA TV just spew their negativity about the Knicks and NYC as as whole every chance they get…RJ will shot them up as our first home grown super star player since Ewing! Darius Garland must feel the same way. He got snubbed for the All-Rookie team and the rookie vs sophomore game. I thought the Knicks looked good in their preseason game. I would still like to see Brunson, Grimes, RJ, Randle, Mitchell lineup.

Man I said it RJ second 2 year he remind me of TMac. Tracy wasn't flashy his first couple years in the league but stayed in the gym improving his game. RJ is going to be a beast especially having a pg that defense have to respect will leave allot of clean looks for other players.
Both RJ and Brunson come from basketball families. They know what hard work and coaching will get you. They want to improve in a way that results in winning ball.
