• Steve Kerr: “Anytime something happens, we try to handle things internally. It’s difficult to keep everything in-house, obviously.” Defers further comment on Green/Poole incident to GM Bob Myers. Kerr described Jordan Poole as “fantastic in camp.” Kerr won’t comment on the Green/Poole situation beyond Bob Myers’ comments. He did want to set the record straight regarding reports Jordan Poole’s attitude led to a “buildup” with Draymond: “Jordan has been fantastic throughout camp, there is a report I was made aware of last night, someone put out there that Jordan had an attitude, and that couldn’t be further from the truth…I want to make sure I set the record straight on that…It’s sad to see misinformation out there.” (Mark Medina, CJ Holmes, Kate Rooney, 95.7 The Game)

• Kerr said that Draymond Green won’t practice on Friday, but plans to return to the group on Saturday: “Didn’t practice today. He won’t be here tomorrow. I expect him to return Saturday and get back at it.” FWIW: Friday will be an off day for entire team. (Mark Medina, Connor Letourneau, Monte Poole)

• “I’m not gonna answer anything more, because Bob answered what needed to be answered.” (95.7 The Game)

• Klay Thompson did not scrimmage today and will not be available for Sunday’s preseason game. (CJ Holmes, Kendra Andrews)

• Kerr, when asked about his incident with Michael Jordan and whether that was hard to move forward from: “Just watch, ‘The Last Dance.’” (Melissa Rohlin)

• On the Warriors’ blending eras of youth and veterans: “You rarely see this where a team can compete for a championship, but actually win one like we did a year ago, and still have all these you players who represent the future.” (95.7 The Game)

• Kerr says today’s practice still had good energy: “There’s been a great vibe. We’ve had a hell of a camp. You have bumps in the road and you deal with it.” (95.7 The Game)

• Kerr said Andre Iguodala’s leadership is key in this situation: “Andre is one of the great leaders I’ve ever been around…We knew we were gonna need his internal leadership.” (95.7 The Game)

  2. we the public will never know what actually went down…so…
    move on…Go Warriors…

  3. Kerr and the team are doing their job by keeping all of the bits that can be misconstrued by fans and media on the inside. Even if what happened is spelled out by the coach and the management, people tend to alter things bit by bit and by the time it hits everybody, the truth just isn’t the truth anymore. On top of that, people always assign blame, draw their own short sighted conclusions and with social media out there, it can get pretty brutal. Hopefully dray and Jordan poole did the MJ/Kerr thing, talked it out and realize what the big picture is. (Another chip)

  4. Let's be honest, warriors can be competitive if they somehow keep the young core after Steph. The reality is we won't be championship level. Luka, Zion and that Wembenyama kid are coming and warriors championship window is next 2 max 3 Years. Let's give Steph the best roster possible to maximize this.

  5. Those who haven’t been in a team don’t realize that teammates fight all the time. Even Jordan has punched Kerr during practice. Lol

  6. I really like Steve addressing that part about Poole because they are really running with the “Pooles been cocky” narrative. Thanks Steve

  7. I feel like no one ever comments on this, but why does the press conference footage for the warriors always suck. The wizard of oz looks better and they use a microphone that sounds like someone casting the first homerun hit by Babe Ruth.

  8. Remember the news that kuminga has an attitude problem, and now poole? We don't know if these sources of info is trustworthy. Much better hearing these issues getting addressed by the team itself

  9. Ur a great person ,great example and great coach/father of the warriors…whatever it is Dray showing his greatness older brother for these young fellas…Luv Warriors 😘😘😘😘

  10. It's hilarious that these reporter bots can't come up with a question that isn't related to yesterday's BS.

  11. It’s time for Steph and Klay to step up and have poole’s back 100% or they will lose him in the future

  12. Wondering whos the snake who keeps on leaking these infos and create these narratives of young guys like JK and JP having an attitude

  13. You know, if Poole remembers Klay's
advice & comes to a happy agreement with GSW on his contract extension, & if Wiggs, Klay & Dray come to a happy contract agreement with GSW re their extensions than it will be the beginning of a happy, gradual transition to the younger generation for GSW

  14. That bs story about Poole's "attitude" came from Mark Haynes, who is widely-known to be a Clutch Sports mouthpiece.
    D. Greene is represented by… Clutch.
So, the narrative they're pushing is it's Poole's fault because of his attitude.
    Total bs.
